The Jazz Functionnaires

The Jazz Functionnaires is a jazz quartet made up of piano, double bass and drums and fronted by vocalist Harriet Thomas. As its name suggests The Jazz Functionnaires was formed specifically in order to provide high quality jazz entertainment at both private and corporate functions.

All four musicians are experienced professionals, having worked extensively in the jazz and function field, as well as being involved in radio, television and session work.

Their repertoire focuses on classic jazz and pop tunes that can be enjoyed by all ages and they can adapt their performances to provide mellow background music as well as up-tempo music for dancing.

If you are looking for something smaller than a quartet, the members of the Jazz Functionnaires “team” also go out as a duo (vocals and piano or piano and double bass), and as a trio (piano, drums and bass or piano, double bass and vocals). They can also extend their line-up to include superb saxophonist, Phil Brown and trumpet man, Dave Priseman.
